Custom Made
One Dress.
One Price. Yours.
A custom gown can't have a shelf price, because no two are the same amount of work. So instead of a number we can't stand behind, here is exactly how your number gets built — and what makes it move.
How A Commission Is Priced (3)
One fixed fee, one free quote, one figure that depends entirely on what you ask us to make.
The consultation
R300
Paid when you book
Thirty minutes with the people who'd actually make it. Bring photographs, a Pinterest board, a colour, or nothing but a date and a feeling — we'll work out what you're describing.
Your quote
No charge
After your consultation
A real figure for the actual dress you described — fabric, construction and finishing, priced properly. You're under no obligation to go ahead once you have it.

The figure in your quote
Terms agreed with your quote
Nothing gets cut until you've seen the price and said yes to it. No dress ever costs more at collection than the quote you agreed — if the design changes along the way, so does the quote, in writing, first.
Five Ways A Dress Gets Built
Where your gown sits on this ladder is the single biggest thing your quote turns on. Every rung is priced at your consultation — read it as hours of hand-work, not as good, better, best.
These aren't packages you pick from a menu, and none of them carries a fixed price — most gowns borrow from two rungs at once, and yours is quoted once we've talked. It's a way of seeing where the money in a dress actually goes.
What Moves Your Number (4)
Four things decide almost every custom quote. Three of them you can pull in either direction — and one is free.
Weddings
Getting Married? Start Earlier Than You Think.
Wedding gowns get quoted on their own, away from this ladder — there's more fitting, more fabric and far more calendar involved, and the timeline matters as much as the design. Bring us the date first and we'll tell you honestly whether we can do it justice.
Straight With You
Why There's No Price List Here
We could publish a "from R—" and let you find out later what it really costs. We'd rather not. A custom gown is quoted once we know what you actually want, and everything below is settled with you before a single metre of fabric is bought.
Custom policy
No Custom Rentals.
Custom-designed gowns are not rented out or bought back by OZYDE. We don't design a custom gown for rental purposes.
